Wake Up the M177.2

The stock AMG 4.0L biturbo has plenty left on the table. This calibration tightens torque management, optimizes boost/load, improves throttle mapping, and coordinates better with the TCU so the power actually reaches the pavement.

Expected Output

The M177.2 easily tunes to 690 HP and 737 TQ (1000 nm) in a stage one tune calibration and achieves approximately another 20-40 HP with air intakes, another 40 HP with 400 cell metallic cats, and an additional 20-50 HP with ethanol blend fuel mix.  With M177.2 hybrid turbos, methanol, and hpfp you can find achieve than 1000HP in a daily driver tune.  With appropriate upgrades and supporting mods to the car a quarter mile speed in the 9.4-10.1 range can be achieved in a E63.  Please contact us if you are tuning 2024-2025.

FAQ

Do I need a CPC tune?

Maybe not but it is highly recommended if you have a 9-speed torque limiting CPC.

Will this trip emissions monitors?

We don’t provide emissions defeat. If you run catless parts, you’re responsible for local compliance. Street files retain normal readiness behavior on compliant hardware.

What if I only have 91 octane?

We have a safe 91 file. If you can access 93 or E30 later, we can revise to that fuel (see “What’s Included”).

Can I flash back to stock?

Yes—request your stock file and we’ll provide return-to-stock support.
