Fitment

Engine families: M157 (E63/CLS63/…) and M278 (E550/CLS550/…). If unsure, add your VIN in Order Notes and we’ll confirm prior to shipping.

Install & Time

1. Remove stock boxes & snorkels (no permanent mods)
2. Fit sealed boxes and transfer the MAP sensor to the included mount/extension
3. Install tubes/filters, tighten clamps, check clearances, and test drive

FAQ

Do I need a tune?

Not required to drive, but an ECU tune optimizes fueling and timing to capitalize on the extra flow, especially at high RPM.  Some people may experience a P167e code which many air filters will trigger because they flow better than the factory filters under load.

Will this be loud?

Quieter than fully open filters; you’ll still hear turbo spool under throttle without cabin drone.

Maintenance?

Service filters per manufacturer interval. Inspect clamps and couplers at oil-change intervals.  Tighten to ~5 pound feet.  Re-oil at 50,000 miles with K&N Oil Service Kit.
