Mercedes CPC Tune

What it does: Raises torque ceilings, optional Vmax removal, smarter pedal & torque-by-gear so your ECU/TCU tune can deliver its full output.

Best with: ECU + TCU tune (component protections kept intact). No direct HP is added by CPC alone—it removes bottlenecks.

Description
Mercedes CPC Tune (Central Powertrain Controller)
The CPC governs torque permissions, top speed, pedal feel and certain drivetrain limits. Our CPC calibration removes the bottlenecks so your ECU/TCU tune can do its job—safely and repeatably.
What We Change (model-dependent)
- Torque ceilings & torque-by-gear → lets tuned ECUs request/hold more torque without throttle closure
- Vmax (top speed) removal for track use
When You Need a CPC Tune
- Car feels strong then plateaus; logs show throttle closure or torque intervention
- High WGDC/boost effort but power doesn’t rise accordingly
- ECU/TCU tune installed but you still hit torque limiters in lower gears
CPC doesn’t “make power” by itself—it permits the calibrated torque your ECU/TCU are trying to deliver.
Fitment
Works on Mercedes/AMG models equipped with a CPC module. Common platforms include many 2015–2020 AMG cars (e.g., C/E/GT/A/GLA lines), but we always verify by VIN to load the correct strategy.
How It Works
- VIN check & questionnaire (fuel, mods, use).
- Read/backup the CPC (remote OBD kit for many models; bench on some).
- Calibrate torque limits, Vmax, pedal & options; AI sanity checks + human review.
- Flash the CPC, road-test, and datalog review included.
- Return-to-stock file provided upon request.
What’s Included
- Custom CPC calibration with factory protections intact
- Datalog review after install to confirm no limiters are being hit
- Support for 1 follow-up revision if needed
FAQ
Will CPC tuning add horsepower by itself?
No—CPC allows the ECU/TCU tune to hold the requested torque without interventions like throttle closure. The net result is more delivered torque and consistent acceleration.
Is Vmax removal street-legal?
Vmax removal is for off-road/track use only. Obey local laws.
Is this safe for the transmission?
Yes—on supported models we use gear-based torque shaping and recommend a TCU tune so clutch pressures and torque requests stay coherent.
How long does install take?
Remote OBD: typically 30–45 minutes after setup. Bench service: same-day turnaround once the module is on the bench.
