Philosophy & Materials

  • Solid precious metal where feasible (18K/22K gold, platinum, palladium). We weight-relieve components on the back side to preserve ergonomics.
  • Rhodium top-coats for bright-white reflectivity; optional black DLC or TiN gold for high-wear surfaces.
  • Titanium option (for religious/cultural reasons or weight) with optional gold inlays/engravings.
  • All parts are hallmarked, serialized, and delivered with an assay/provenance certificate.

Scope — Typical Touch-Points

  • Start/stop button, rotary/HVAC knobs, COMAND/MMI dials, selector/shift paddles.
  • Door pulls & interior handles, seat controls, window switch bezels, seat adjuster tips.
  • Steering wheel trim caps, emblem inlays, vents & speaker grilles (with acoustic transparency maintained).
  • Console surrounds, cup-holder frames, key fob shells, buckle bezels (function unaffected).

Airbag zones, clearances and tactile feedback are preserved to OEM spec. Safety-critical parts are never compromised.

  5. Install — on-site worldwide or ship your car to us (enclosed transport).
  6. Aftercare — cleaning kit, gloves, finish guide, annual inspection.

Timeline is scope-dependent; interiors typically 12–24+ weeks. Combined widebody/tuning programs are scheduled in parallel.

Care & Cleaning — Precious Metal Interiors

Designed for daily use. Follow these simple steps to keep surfaces pristine while preserving factory function and safety.

Daily & Monthly Routine

  • Daily: Wipe touch-points with a clean, dry microfiber. If fingerprints persist, lightly mist the cloth with distilled water (never spray the part).
  • Monthly: Clean with pH-neutral soap (a drop in a cup of water). Dampen microfiber, wipe, then dry with a second cloth.
  • Quarterly: Inspect for loosened debris in knurls/guilloché; use a very soft detailing brush dry only, then microfiber.
  • Annually: We offer an inspection & refresh (on-site or shipped) to re-satin, re-rhodium, or re-DLC selected pieces as needed.

Do / Don’t (Important)

  • ✅ Use clean microfiber only; swap cloths often to avoid micro-scratches.
  • ✅ Keep sanitizer, sunscreen, perfume, and tanning oils off metal; wipe after exposure.
  • ❌ No ammonia, bleach, citrus, vinegar, or household glass/metal polishes.
  • ❌ No abrasives (paper towels, polishing pastes, scouring pads) or ultrasonic cleaners in-car.
  • ❌ Avoid soaking seams/switches. Don’t spray liquids directly onto parts—mist the cloth.
  • ⚠️ Rings, watches, bracelets with diamonds/carbides can scratch softer metals; be mindful on high-contact knobs.

Metal-Specific Notes

Gold (18K / 22K)
Softer and warm-toned. Expect light patina over time on satin finishes. Use only pH-neutral soap + microfiber. Do not polish with metal compounds (removes material). Rhodium top-coats (if specified) improve scratch resistance—clean as above.
Platinum / Palladium
Extremely durable and dense; develops a classy work-polished luster. Clean with neutral soap; no abrasives. Minor scuffs can be brushed out during annual refresh if desired.
Rhodium Finish (Bright White)
Hard, thin noble-metal coating. Avoid aggressive rubbing and all polishes. If brightness fades, we can re-rhodium during service.
Titanium (incl. Anodized Color)
Very tough; anodized hues can shift with abrasion/chemicals. Clean with mild soap only. Do not use alcohol or alkaline/acidic cleaners on anodized pieces. We can re-anodize to exact color if needed.
Coatings: DLC / TiN
Extremely wear-resistant, but avoid abrasive pastes/polishes that can haze the surface. Soap + water + microfiber only.
Inlays: Enamel, Mother-of-Pearl, Gemstones
Treat as fine jewelry. No solvents. Wipe with damp microfiber and dry. Avoid heat guns/steam near inlays.

Environment & Storage

  • Heat/Cold: Metals can feel hot or cold to the touch; this is normal. Avoid leaving harsh cleaners inside a hot cabin.
  • Coast/Salt/High-Humidity: Keep a microfiber in the car; wipe condensation. We can apply clear nano-sealants on request for added protection.
  • Long Parking: Use a breathable interior cover; avoid silicone dressings on adjacent leather where they can transfer to metal.

Service & Warranty

  • We include a care kit (two microfibers, pH-neutral concentrate, soft brush).
  • Annual refresh available: re-satin, re-brush, re-coat (rhodium/DLC) as needed. On-site or ship your car to us (enclosed, insured).
  • Warranty exclusions: abrasive damage, chemical exposure (ammonia/bleach/citrus/acid/alkali), unauthorized polishing compounds.
If a scratch or dent occurs: don’t DIY polish. Send us a photo; most pieces can be re-finished in place or swapped for a spare we bring on-site.
