The VRP M156 Supercharger Upgrade Kit delivers impressive results on a stock motor, producing over 294 wheel horsepower (WHP) more than stock figures. On a test vehicle, the kit increased power by 220 WHP from the starting number, showcasing significant potential for further upgrades. A stock C63, equipped with this kit, will achieve nearly 365 WHP on a Mustang dyno.

BEFORE

Modifications included:

• VRP Long Tube Headers with x pipe
• VRP Headstuds
• Titanium cam hardware
• VRP 93 Octane tune

AFTER

The only modifications added were:

• VRP M156 Supercharger Upgrade Kit with 82mm throttle bodies
• VRP Heat Exchanger
• Bosch 010 Pump
• Cone filters

With a simple VRP flash tune for the new blower and a tank of 93 octane, we took the car back to the same dyno.

The 72mm pulley produced:

-659 WHP
-611 WTQ

This was on a simple split system and a bosch 010 pump! The most basic cooling we could run.

The cooling system for this kit is built to perform, The Hellcat intercoolers we chose to use are the largest intercooler cores available for an m156 platform and good for over 950whp!

• Are instructions provided?
  Yes, we include paper instructions with each kit and have a digital guide on our website <Link>.
• Will I need to upgrade my transmission?
  A transmission upgrade is not required for daily use. However, for drag racing with sticky tires, we recommend a built transmission.
• Will you still offer the cast version of this kit?
  Currently, we only offer the billet version.
• How is this kit better than competitors’?

• Do I need additional modifications?
  The kit requires upgraded injectors (at least 630cc), which are available as an optional add-on.
• Will my AMG engine builder placard fit?
  The AMG Builder Placard is not directly compatible but can be attached using epoxy like the OEM supercharger.
• Can the stock motor handle this upgrade?
  Yes, the stock motor, including stock heads, cams, and bottom end, handled the test car with no issues.
• Does the kit require forged pistons?
  The kit doesn’t require forged pistons unless you use a pulley that exceeds 9psi.
• Does the kit include an intercooler and piping?
  Yes, the VRP supercharger includes integrated intercoolers, a split cooling tank, heat exchanger, pump, and all necessary piping.
• Will my VRP M156 throttle body upgrade work?
  Yes, the M156 Supercharger kit is compatible with the VRP 82/85mm throttle body upgrade.
