A Note from the Founder
My passion for performance and engineering started when I was a kid.
I grew up holding the flashlight for my dad as he modified Jaguars, BMWs, and Porsches —
from XJRs and MZ3s to 911s. That early hands-on experience shaped how I approach cars today.
At 18, I bought my first Range Rover with money made working with coding and supporting html websites and building computers. It was a 4.6 with big tires and ARB locking differentials.
I kept it alive, modified it, and fell in love with the balance of capability and character.
Over the years I moved through Jaguar Land Rovers with 4.4L and 5.0L engines, eventually writing a book and launching OffRoadRover.com, a sister site dedicated to the 4×4 side of my passion.
TunedMercedes grew out of that same spirit — but focused on Mercedes-AMG performance.
We’ve been tuning with WinOLS since 2025, and before that with HPTuners and ECMTitanium.
Today, our work spans everything from safe daily-driver calibrations to track-focused datalogging sessions.
Community is central to what we do. Our YouTube channel now features over 520 videos,
and we stay active on Instagram and Facebook — sharing builds, answering questions, and documenting real results.
