Thoughts on Heat Treatment of 3D Printed Parts in High Performance Automotive Applications

We talk about the importance of annealing 3D printed car parts multiple times, rather than just following the recommended process once, to ensure the part is properly heat-treated for automotive performance applications.

What is up, everybody? I’ve seen a lot of people get into 3D printing, uh, car parts, and one of the things I’m gonna suggest to you guys is that basically, if you’re going to do this, you want to look into annealing. And when you anneal stuff, you don’t want to just do it once. 🚫 Don’t follow the recommendations. When you’re doing something for like an automotive performance part, you’re going to want to heat cycle that several times. All right? So, anneal several times.
