When tuning and in general changing transmission fluid is likely not done enough. Realistically a 35,000 mile transmission fluid change interval is recommended but rarely carried out. It is not uncommon though to see transmissions with over 100,000 miles with original oil. Replacing your oil will keep your transmission working smoothly.
