Air Intakes

More air is very important to boosted engines. Somewhat paradoxically warmer air does not seem to be as much of an issue for boosted engines as cooling can be improved to cool air after compression.

Air intakes once thought of providing minimal gain prove to be essential supporting mods with Stage 2 ECU tunes and are needed when paired with bigger turbochargers.
