I had a chance to try out the new GLC 63 SE. I currently own a 205 C63 with the M177 so I wanted to see how the M139 paired with the GLC 63. My impressions are that it is a good engine but should be offered along side a big v8 as well as potentially a 43se option.
The reason I would say this is not because of the dynamics but because of the perceived labor of the engine while pushing the car. That being said due to the slow sales of the C63 with the same engine there may be an opportunity here to pick up a very high end compact SUV at a good price.
