Laying Carbon Fiber Directly on PVA Printed Parts

I am testing using PVA printed parts and laying CF right on top. This is an interesting solution to me to test because the PVA itself is water soluble. Additionally I am using a Carbon Fiber Tube versus laying cut pieces of carbon fiber.

Some things I’ve noted are that PVA requires a slightly closer Z offset than a PLA. Carbon fiber tubes can be stretched but next time I do it I will actually use a bigger size and go downward. I will check the results in 24 hours.
