Description

Datalogging & Tune Sanity Check

Make sure your Mercedes/AMG is healthy and your tune is doing what it should. We combine AI cross-checks with human calibration to spot issues fast—and give you a clear, actionable plan.

What You Get

  • OpenPort 2.0 clone
  • Setup and use< of datalogging equipment/li>
  • AI + human review of your logs (λ, timing, boost/MAP, WGDC, trims, IAT, rail pressure, throttle, gear)
  • PDF summary + plain-English notes and next steps

How It Works

  1. Purchase this service (order # becomes your case ID).
  2. We email a secure upload link + a short checklist.
  3. Record logs (see PID list below) on a safe road or dyno.
  4. We analyze and send a PDF/notes within 24–48 hours.
  5. 15-min consult to review, plus 1 follow-up after adjustments.

What To Log (minimum set)

Signal Why
RPM, Vehicle speed, Gear context & load
Throttle (pedal & plate) driver-wish vs. actual
Boost/MAP & BARO charge pressure & altitude correction
WGDC / BCS% turbo control effort / headroom
Lambda / AFR + STFT/LTFT mixture control, leaks, injector margin
IAT / ECT thermal load & heat-soak
Ignition timing (+ knock/retard if available) octane headroom
Rail pressure (DI) fuel system margin

Nice-to-have: turbo shaft speed, wastegate position, MAF g/s or airmass, EGT (if equipped).

Recording Tips

  • Name files VIN_YYYY-MM-DD_context.csv (e.g., WDD…_2025-10-12_3rdGearPull.csv).
  • Warm to operating temp; do a light-cruise log, then 1–2 clean pulls. Use flat, safe roads or a dyno.
  • After install/changes, re-torque clamps post 2–3 heat cycles to avoid boost leaks.

What We Look For

  • λ control near target without erratic trims
  • EGT/thermal proxy within our envelope for your platform
  • Torque coherence: no throttle closure or hidden limiters hit
  • Boost vs. WGDC: healthy headroom, no runaway duty
  • Ignition: stable advance without persistent knock correction

What You’ll Need

  • OBD interface (OBDLink MX+ or similar) and a logging app (Car Scanner, OBD Fusion, Torque Pro, etc.)
  • Or dyno CSV exports with the signals above

Good Fits & Use Cases

  • Pre-tune health check (find leaks/sensors before flashing)
  • Post-tune QA (verify targets, adjust as needed)
  • Track readiness (heat & consistency under repeated pulls)

FAQ

Do you need my current tune file?

No, logs are enough for a health/sanity review. If you want a file revision from us, pair this with an ECU Tune.

Will you drive my car remotely?

No remote control—just analysis and guidance. You record, we review.

Is 24–48 hours guaranteed?

Yes for standard queues (Mon–Fri). Track-weekend rush? Message us—we can prioritize.

Datalogging is an essential step to ensuring a car’s optimal performance.  With special software and open port 2.0 we will communicate in a high speed fashion with a car while your car is moving and experiencing any issues to be diagnosed.

Our technicians will prepare the datasets to log and go over the data to help draw any inferences about what issues may be present and how to remedy them.
