Disclaimer and Emissions Statement

As always please do not defeat any car emissions systems unless the car is for racing or upgraded parts are used that are complaint with local regulations. I do not condone any use of emissions defeating technologies. No refunds.

Understand tuning extracts more performance than the original equipment manufacture has specified. At times tuning can require more maintenance and unveil otherwise unnoticed weaknesses in your engine. This often translates into requiring more spark plug replacement, coil pack replacement, and care of your engine. Very rarely does this translate into an earlier diagnosis of compression issues that may have otherwise showed up later. On the M278 and M157 platforms, especially heavy ones such as the GLS, Mercedes engines have shown engine scoring, or at times valve issues, these are known issues with the Mercedes block and often occur in completely stock cars. We strive to make our tunes as safe as possible, with a high-performance daily road use targeted but we can tune to extremes if requested. Despite our best efforts in crafting a tune, some changes may be necessary for specific cars. We can identify this through data logging. Extensive retuning may incur additional charges. Our tunes do not carry a warranty currently. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for any mechanical damage, personal injury, or property damage resulting from our tunes.

Our tunes can significantly increase the power and thus driving characteristics of a car. Extra attention should be taken around corners. And while using the extra capability of the car. Please be advised tuning can dramatically increase artificially limited top speeds. Please ensure proper tires, and precautions are used when traversing at high-speeds. Do not exceed the capabilities of your skill, the road, the weather, and your car.

By accepting this agreement, you are understanding that we are unlocking extra potential in your car and that we are held harmless and indemnified against any damages, or issues arising from using out tunes. We will not perform any services that do not comply with the EPA regulations Furthermore you are accepting that there is no warranty and that servicing requirements will be higher. If any part of this agreement is found to not be legally enforceable, the other tenants of this document you agree will still be enforceable.

If there are any issues both parties agree to binding arbitration and mediation as the sole form of recourse.

We recommend oil changes at 6000 miles while tuned and spark plug replacement every 30,000 miles. Tuning can be dangerous although we take great pride in making it safe and fun. Liability is limited to the price of transaction.

The Calimafde LLC which offers the TunedMercedes offer manufactures all products locally and offers other manufactures goods drop shipped directly from the manufactures. We do not maintain an inventory of others products.

We do not sell any downpipes in the state of MD, NY, or CA. Catted downpipes are available for 48 state legal use. Catless downpipes are only for offroad use and again will not be sold in all regions.

We do not alter any programming to trick emissions testing nor will we “delete” anything.

Since these are low volume tuning parts some parts may not be eligible for refunds, and some parts may take up to 10-14 days to deliver. If a part takes longer than this to deliver a confirmation email will be sent.

If a part is needed within a specific timeframe please reach out to confirm it can be sent in time.

Any legal disputes will be handled in the state of Delaware or Maryland and both parties agree to conduct non-binding mediation before binding arbitration or court proceeding. Products and colors may change at any time without notice, often for improvement or to reflect value chain.
